My background:

I studied Medicine at the University of Guadalajara, later I completed my specialty in General Surgery at UMAE 1 with endorsement from the University of Guanajuato. After finishing my first specialty, I studied the subspecialty in Oncologic Surgery at the General Hospital of Mexico with endorsement of the UNAM. Finally, I took the formal one year full time course of High Specialty in Endoscopic Surgery at the ABC Medical Center also endorsed by the UNAM.

I am certified by the Mexican Board of General Surgery and by the Mexican Board of Oncology. I have attended and participated in lectures, courses, congresses, as well as research projects related to my specialties.
